I served as costume designer and teaching artist for The 39 Steps at Greenhill School, working within a collaborative educational environment where students were actively involved in the design process. It was especially meaningful to help guide and realize their creative ideas while introducing them to practical costume design principles in a fast-paced, character-driven production.

The design focused on quick transformations, clear silhouettes, and playful exaggeration to support the show’s rapid shifts between suspense and comedy. Beyond building the world of the play, the experience centered on mentorship—helping young designers see their concepts come to life onstage while collaborating with Valerie Hauss-Smith and the full production team.
