• Behind the Seams •

I worked as assistant costume designer for Narnia, The Musical, supporting both design development and production execution for an out-of-town build. My work included makeup charges for the White Witch, Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, and the Nyad, as well as construction support on key pieces such as the debris Crulie’s robe and the Statues mask. I also assisted with costume tech notes, fittings, and production meetings, helping maintain continuity between design intent and onstage execution.

Additional responsibilities included sourcing and research for period-accurate everyday wear for children and adults, tracking rentals, and supporting the designer and team during travel to the theatre for load-in and production prep. The experience combined hands-on construction with organizational and collaborative work in bringing a large-scale fantasy world to life.
